Katiba @ 10 Dialogues:Spotlight on Disability Inclusion.
It has been 10 years since the passing of the most progressive Constitution in Kenya, however, has this made a difference in the lives of persons with disabilities in Kenya? The Covid-19 pandemic has exposed glaring inequalities for persons with disabilities across the country. So what is the Kenya disability inclusion story in 2020?
@UDPK We are holding county dialogues with disabled persons organizations in 27 counties to discuss:
Katiba@10 what is the status of disability inclusion; what is the place of disability in ongoing governance reforms; what are the issues and challenges in the counties for persons with disabilities; what is the progress in the enactment of the Persons with Disabilities Bill ?
